Why leave a good thing, right? Especially when it comes to waves, waking up to find your local spitting open, thick barrels is typically a sign you’ll be spending the entire day in your bubble. No need to go hunting anywhere else…
But what if everybody’s rumbling about it being better somewhere up the road? Like, let’s say a four-hour drive from your current buffet of tubes. That’s just getting greedy, ain’t it?
East Coast photographer Patrick Murphy didn’t get greedy, he just enjoyed an embarrassment of hollow riches. Murphy started his day on Long Island before deciding to hop in the rig and take on the four-hour trek to Rhode Island where he was greeted with…yes, more barrels.
