Surfers tend to have a lot of similar bucket lists. There are variations here and there, we put different priority on visiting different world class waves, but more or less, there are dozens of places we all want to hit up. And within those lists there is a trip or five dedicated to living like a rock star while surfing like a world champ. No skimping on the noodle budget and surfing on an empty stomach, battling a stiff back because you slept on something harder than the ground itself.
But we all know what really matters most in luxury surf travel. Those big round things that spit water out of them. Just make sure there’s plenty of those. Apparently this week’s run of swell offered plenty of shade.
