Los Angeles doesn’t get great surf all the time. In fact, many of the diehards around here are surf starved. But every dog has its day, and the South Bay does get really good at times (it does, I swear). And when it gets good, everyone comes out to rip.
Most of us wish it could look like this every day. But I guess days like this just make you appreciate it that much more.
That’s why on this particular morning, my phone was ringing off the hook that the surf was good. Head-high-plus waves and good shape equals happy surfers. It was a really fun morning of surf. This video I stitched together is from Feb 21, 2024. Enjoy and I’ll see you on the sand.
