There’s a reason why Filipe Toledo is a world champion twice over. Put simply, the guy is a freak. When it comes to waves a little closer to the everyday variety, Toledo is unstoppable. He’s faster than anyone else, has an air game topped by pretty much no one, and despite the fact that he’s already got world titles under his belt, he’s still as hungry as ever.
Now that 2023 is done and dusted and we’re a few weeks into 2024, here are a few of Toledo’s best free surfing sessions from around the world when he wasn’t actively competing. And looking at them, it’s pretty clear that he was a man on a mission — and he completed that mission.
