Lower Trestles is an incredible wave. When it’s on, it’s perfect. The cobblestone break has become iconic of California’s surf scene, much the same way that Malibu did back in the Dora days – only Lowers has become a haven for some of the most progressive surfing in the world. So what happens when you get a contest with the best surfers in the world on one of the best waves in the world? A whole bunch of good stuff, that’s what. While the contest is on standby, keep a sharp eye out for the day it runs, because the forecast is looking good to make some magic happen.
