The big wave season in Portugal is officially underway. A few days ago, the world’s biggest wave lit up, and it was the opening swell that Nazaré surfers had been waiting for. The swell was clean, the tide was right, and the winds were offshore, although at times they were blowing a little too hard. The waves were in the 40-60-foot range, and the surfers were there to test their limits. Barena Film and Sports was there to document the action, and they’ve picked the 10 best waves of the day.
