T-Rex, New York, USA. This was the site and image of the 2011 Quiksilver Pro New York surf contest–the first and only ASP World Tour stop on the East Coast. It was the largest prize purse in surfing history and the first to break the $1,000,000 mark. Come and gone, the image still remains an icon of the blossoming New York surf culture.
