Now this is how you say adios to the snow riding season. For its closing weekend, May 26-27, Bend, Oregon’s Mt. Bachelor will open its lifts to both snow riding and mountain biking and add another of our favorite things as well: beer.
Sponsored by 10 Barrel Brewing, Board, Bike & Brew sounds like a fairly radical party. “We are excited to offer the chance to ski or board, bike, and drink brews — all in the same day,” wrote the resort in a statement. “Sunshine lift will be open for mountain biking, while Skyliner, Pine Marten, and Summit will be open for skiing and riding.”
Mt. Bachelor features some progressive mountain bike terrain and hosts several enduro races throughout the summer. The resort is also hosting an Instagram contest over the weekend and giving away rad stuff.
Bye, bye winter. Hello summer.
