Derek Seehausen has been missing since August 5th. He has an extraordinary affinity for the wilderness – hiking, rock climbing, and other outdoor scenic activities. Derek is a USC Medical Student. Members of the family believe there is a possibility of Derek being in the wilderness. He has prior family history and has been exposed to such actions as viable options when disappearing, and he has a particular interest in the outdoors.
He was last seen at approximately midnight in the Echo Park area near the intersection of Alvarado and Sunset in Los Angeles, California. He was wearing a black jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, plaid shorts, and sneakers. He is approximately 6’0” tall and weighs approximately 180 lbs. He has an athletic build. He has light brown hair and hazel eyes. Derek has a scar on his left upper arm.
