According to reports, at least seven people are dead after a cliff face collapsed onto the boats they were in on a lake in Brazil. As of this reporting, three more are still missing and 32 others were injured.
The collapse occurred at around 11:00 a.m. in a lake in Minas Gerais state. Fire officials told reporters that the cliff had likely been destabilized by days of heavy rain.
The video, which is circulating widely, shows other boaters shouting warnings at two boats in particular as the cliff face begins to crumble. Divers and helicopters are still searching the area for more survivors. Our condolences go out to the friends, family, and anyone affected by this tragedy.
