Shaun White brought snow to the desert, introducing the Air + Style Los Angeles snowboard competition. Yes… we laughed as the big time celebrity slid down the course on his butt with his girlfriend, Sarah. But the enormous contraption of a ramp they erected in the middle of the Rose Bowl brought more than Shaun’s shenanigans. Yuki Kadono won the event with a Switch Backside Triple Cork 1620 Melon, a trick that has never been landed before in the history of the sport.

The three-leg word tour came to a close with Ståle Sandbech named the first ever Air + Style tour champion. With a third place finish at the Air + Style inhe secured $50,000 and the famous Ring of Glory.
