Closing day at the local ski resort can be a downright, degenerate affair. You’ve just got to go into it fully prepared. Not near enough water is digested. Or sunscreen applied. Drinks generally go down too fast. People ride with way too much speed and don’t wear enough clothing (clothing seems to disappear the further one gets into closing day festivities). And that’s before everyone gathers for the end-of-day bonfire in the parking lot where all bets are off and pure debauchery ensues.
Par exemple, these two young ladies at Northstar (the video might not be new, but it was posted this week in celebration of closing day). They were ready to go off. Especially the one sporting blonde locks. As one social commentator mentioned casually, she came to closing day for two things: snowboardin’ and kickin’ ass. Looks like the slopes closed early.
