If you haven’t seen this, check it out. Shawn James’ and the Shapeshifters’ ‘American Hearts’ just sounds better when it’s played to wolves howling in the background. James played this live set as a benefit for the Wolf Sanctuary a while back, which these days is trying to move to a new home in Larimer County near Fort Collins, Colorado. The entity takes in the animals that have been born in captivity or wolf dogs that have been abandoned or mistreated.
The guy playing the mandolin doesn’t look too sure but they keep going. And the harmony in the woods is awesome.
