Travis Rice knows how to make an entrance. He did it in Hakuba, Japan a few weeks ago when he won the first stop of the Freeride World Tour with a gnarly 720 followed by a backflip. Then this: he goes switch 540 into Corbet’s Couloir during the Kings and Queens of Corbet’s yesterday at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. We won’t know who won until a party Saturday night where competitors will vote to decide the winners. But this will have to be up there. There were several man-made setups below the entrance added this year that competitors could hit. Travis had a super clean run compared to some of the yardsales witnessed during the day. But you pretty much won if you were there sending it. Kudos Jackson Hole.
