Travis Rice may be most well-known for his unparalleled riding, but right up there with his ability on a snowboard are the landmark films he’s dished out over the years. From That’s It, That’s All (2008) to The Art of Flight (2011) to The Fourth Phase (2016), and smaller films in between, it would seem every project Rice has touched over the years has pushed the envelope in terms of what a snowboard film can be.
Which brings us to the teaser above – a preview of Rice’s latest film, Dark Matter, that features himself and Elias Elhardt tackling loony lines in Alaska.
Directed by Curt Morgan, who was the visionary behind That’s It, That’s All and The Art of Flight, Dark Matter is, according to the YouTube description, “a celebration of space and time during incredibly unique conditions at the Tordrillo Mountain Lodge in the remote Alaskan backcountry.”
Color us intrigued.
