Anytime someone goes huge over a gap jump, on any kind of gear be it skis, snowboard or mountain bike, props are deserved. And this time props go to British Columbia-based freeride mountain biker Yusuke Yamamoto as he sticks this famous train gap between Whistler and Pemberton.
But he’s not the first, obviously. Mad props actually go to Kenny Smith, a little-known mountain biker with a gigantic set of…..wheels. Here’s the original attempt, below. Just for context. Because Smith actually hucked it with a train coming down the tracks.
