Devan O’Connor was ripping through the aspens at Aspen Snowmass when, as he put it, he zigged when he should have zagged. The tree took out O’Connor like a linebacker would a receiver running across the middle of the field. Well, as you can see below, SportsCenter thought so too, picking up the skier’s Instagram post and running it on the show. “Trees keep popping up in the most inconvenient places…just getting roastedddd by @sportscenter,” he wrote.
For that exposure, seeing that 25 million people probably watch SportsCenter every evening, we’re thinking O’Connor (a professional skier) should definitely get a free season pass to Snowmass next year. Way to take the hit, kid!
