Candide Thovex is probably the greatest freeskier to ever live. Some will argue for Shane McConkey. Others for Seth Morrison. Maybe a few for JP Auclair. But Candide, for his longevity, and a combination of competitive prowess and freeskiing ability make him a cross-over success. Any clip the man puts out goes viral, first because of the ridiculously laid-back style with which he rides, and second because of what he’s doing in the moment, which is usually blowing minds.
