This is what you call doin’ it on the cheap. Who needs fancy van conversions? This video comes courtesy of the rootsy folks at Green Acre Homestead, Sam and Angela Clark. Sam decided to create a camper out of his Honda Element (a good road-trippin’ vehicle on its own as many of you know). Check out the air conditioner and other small touches – like the bed table and mini lamp. The Clark’s are “homesteaders,” who moved from the city to a one-acre farm to raise their families and live simply (see debt free). This cheap camper conversion falls right in line with that ethos.
