The first episode of my new podcast series, #ShowingUP, was a great way to start off: I sat down with 32-year-old legend (yes, legend) Alex Honnold. For those who might not know, Alex is known for his ability to climb just about anything…without the aid of anything, ropes and gear included. Yes, that means if you make one mistake, you likely will die. Well, he made one of the most historic climbs in the history of the sport this year when he free-soloed El Capitan.
