First things first, you’ll need a specific van. A Ram Promaster City Cargo (2015-2017) to be specific. If you’ve already got one, or are planning on buying one, then Wayfarer Vans out of Colorado may have the perfect way to transform your van into a dream camper, and one that doesn’t take too much time.
In the video above, one person manages to build out their camper in about 25 minutes. Although, to be fair, some of the pieces were pre-assembled, and the cushions already made.
According to Wayfarer Vans’ website, you can either bring your van to their shop for installation or have the pieces shipped to you about 2-3 weeks after ordering.
The kits aren’t super cheap – they go for about $4,696 – but it seems like a pretty simple solution for a perfect little adventure mobile if you’ve got the cash.
Until recently, Wayfarer has stuck to outfitting the Ram Promaster City, but as evidenced by the video below, it looks like the company recently started making them for the high-roof Promaster, too. No word on their website how much this kit costs.
