Meet Matt. He and his crew took an old GMC Kodiak Ambulance, gutted it, converted it to four-wheel drive, put massive 40-inch tires under the air-ride suspension, and built a 900hp Baja-running, fully off-the-grid beast of a home. This thing has 400AH lithium batteries and 1,000 watts of solar – which means everything can be run off the batteries, fully off grid. From the 12-volt air conditioner, to the induction cooktop, and the electric water heater, there is no need for propane or any harmful fuels in this vehicle – other than the diesel to get you there. What do you think about it?
