The Inertia

You know you’re an icon when you get spoofed in a television show. Tanner Hall definitely qualifies now (if he didn’t already). The FX show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia took aim at Hall’s famous Chad’s Gap wipeout in Utah where he came up short on the gap yelling in pain, “My ankles are broken!” The show starring Danny Devito, among others, is set around a neighborhood bar in Philly. The cast hits the slopes and the show’s writers use Hall’s wipeout as material. Genius.

And to his credit (after all, he was the one who got hurt), Hall took it all in stride. “Honored to be a parody on the hit show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” he wrote on his Facebook page. “Well played.”
