The Sierra is one of the best mountain ranges in the world for backcountry touring. But most of the best touring usually happens in the spring. This year, with a stellar October where the Sierra received 3-5 feet in areas thanks to an atmospheric river event, Shredtober was on! The crew at Jones Snowboards put together this sweet little feature as a tribute to the month that was this year. Jeremy Jones, Forrest Shearer, Jimmy Goodman, Chris Christenson, Marcus Cassidy, and Dave Faustini set out for the October of a lifetime, and put it all on film for us to enjoy from Mammoth opening day to riding steep “High Sierra Hallways.”
