South African Matt Bush is a gifted climber, no doubt. One only needs to take a look at his Instagram page to see that the 32-year-old from Cape Town has put hand-to-rock in some incredible places. Mostly without ropes and protective gear. While Alex Honnold is probably the world’s best-known free soloists, there are plenty of hardcores out there who practice this obscure โ and high-stakes โ form of climbing.
