Good lord. While professional mountain bikers possess an undeniable amount of skill, bad things still happen. Like this wreck from Nicholi Rogatkin in 2015. This fall has been documented before. But this footage was just buried in the archives of Jasper Wesselman. Digging through a hard drive, he says on his Instagram page, he found this piece of video and decided to put it out there.
The most impressive aspect of the fall was that Nocholi didn’t just lay there in a bloody heap. He picked himself up and finished the run, stomping a couple of giant gap jumps and a backflip to end it. You can see that part, below:
