In a painful-looking flub, professional mountain biker Jaxson Riddle misjudgedΒ a jump off Salt Lake City’s Museum of Natural History building this week and nearly destroyed himself when he landed in the flats. According to venerable industry rag, PinkBike, Riddle was filming a promotion for the upcoming Red Bull Rampage, held annually in the Utah desert.
Riddle told PinkBike he was using objects around the city to give a scale of the features built for Rampage β this jump obviously makes things look huge. Riddle, who’s probably made of rubber, thankfully walked away from the accident relatively unscathed, save for a little soreness. He will compete at the Rampage next month.
“Thankful to be riding @woodwardparkcity after some heinous events yesterday,” Riddle wrote in a caption on Instagram following the miscue (below). The man is a shredder, without a doubt, and everyone seemed relieved he walked away healthy.
