A week or so ago, Norwegian mountain biker Mads André Haugen posted this savage clip of his friend, Anders Eimhjellen Blom, getting thrown off his bike during a downhill run. Haugen got some serious blowback on this clip regarding preparedness, and the fact he was laughing during most of the footage until he sees his friend is seriously injured (like, knocked the f*** out).
In response to the blowback Haugen, posted this piece, below, talking safety and trying to add context to the situation. “There has been a lot of reactions and questions on the clip I posted of @blombastic falling down the cliff. Something I fully understand.”
Regardless, anytime you lose consciousness, it’s a serious crash. Single-track season is upon us. Be safe out there.
