In case you somehow missed it, wildfires are again ruining the fall in Southern California as at least five fires are still burning with power outages affecting some 53,000 homes and businesses. Santa Anna winds are hampering firefighters’ efforts to control the blazes.
Amid these chaotic moments, sometimes unforgettable images are forged. Like this video cut, of a horse seemingly going back into its fire-wrought neighborhood in Simi Valley, part of the Easy Fire. The horse appears to be headed into the blaze to pull out a group of other horses. The video has made the rounds on Twitter, garnering almost nine million views. The Easy Fire has burned nearly 2,000 acres. Find more updates on the fires ravaging Southern California, here.
