The tagline on Dane Jackson’s Instagram page pretty much sums it up: “My page is like being at a strip club, you don’t really know how you got here, but you might as well stick around.” Similarly, you don’t often know how you came across Dane Jackson, one of whitewater kayaking’s best athletes, on the internet. But once you find him, you can’t take your eyes of him and the things he pulls. Take for example the boat wake surf, above. He doesn’t just pump to stay in the wake like someone riding a board.
