Avalanches are some of Mother Nature’s most frightening phenomenons. They can strike without warning, burying parking lots, towns, and unfortunately, people (which sadly, has happened far too often this season). The YouTube page above recently posted a collection of avalanche vids from the internet, collecting over nine minutes of tape documenting some incredibly powerful slides all over the world. If nothing else this compilation simply demonstrates the extreme power of snow and gravity.
