The Inertia

There is no place like the Grand Canyon. Or, even more specific, the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River running through it. Many have discovered its magic during 23-day trips that some would describe as the best 23 days of their lives. Deep down in the canyon, life slows to just about the speed it’s supposed to be, dictated by the flow of the river and the time it takes to roast steaks over the hot coals of a fire. And the family ties that have created fantastic stories for generations of paddlers. Forest Woodward, with the help of NRS, brings us this fantastic portrait of one of Earth’s last great places.
