Humans are awesome. They’re also really weird. This gigantic slingshot, that was made using a crane and a load of industrial rubber, was used to absolutely fling BASE jumpers Chris McDougall and Jimmy Pouchert recently. With the help of the local BASE jumping community, the two were whipped above Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. That’s zero to 200 kilometers per hour in a single second.
