Elena Hight’s been on an absolute tear lately. The Kauai-born, Tahoe-raised professional snowboarder first made a name for herself for slaying in the halfpipe, but the past few years have seen her take her riding to new heights (pun intended).
Last winter, Hight led an all-female crew to Japan for the flick ‘Vision Nowhere.’ Check it out here! She also jumped on the chance of a lifetime to accompany Jeremy Jones on a human-powered trip through the Sierra Range in California, following in John Muir’s footsteps. The film, aptly titled Ode to Muir, details their trip with a conservationist tilt.
