No, this isn’t some post rave wet dream. It’s really a crew of skiers charging the British Columbia and Alaskan backcountry, because why wouldn’t they? The edit, titled Afterglow, was released last year but this is one that will live on in infamy–on originality alone.
In order to light up their lines, Sweetgrass Productions used about 30,000 to 40,000 watts of electricity. That’s a minimum of 500 lightbulbs worth of power to get some of the coolest shots ever. But the production wasn’t all show. In order to make it all possible, Pep Fujas, Eric Hjorleifson, Chris Benchetler and Daron Rahlves pulled some all-nighters, even camping out on an exposed Alaskan ridgeline so they could get the right shots.
