Oh, how times have changed. While the skier vs snowboard rivalry is all but dead, a Canadian newscast showing ski patrolman and resort owners complaining about snowboarders is absolutely classic stuff–especially considering where we are today: a world where most core snowboarders would rather have the sport go back to this instead of showing up on resort advertisements and in the Olympics. But those were the days when snowboarding was pure punk rock. Funny how the harder one group tries to deny or muffle a movement, the bigger the movement will become. Seems to happen in so many segments of society. The things snowboarding can teach us.
