If you thought 2020 was weird, get a load of 2021. This week, a bear was caught on camera as it chased a skier in Romania down a snow-covered slope. Onlookers filmed the incident from the chairlift as the skier nonchalantly makes his way down the mountain.
According to reports, the ski hill is in the resort town of Predeal and bear run-ins are a frequent occurrence. The skier finally noticed the bear and dropped his backpack (presumably full of snacks) to distract the bear, which allowed him to escape. Authorities were called to the scene but there were no injuries. Just good people (and bear) watching from the chair.
