It’s been a crazy year for ski resorts in the Caucasus. A few weeks ago this terrifying scene went down after a chairlift malfunctioned and sent everyone riding on a reverse thrill ride nobody wanted. Then this week, a training airbag used for slopestyle tricks cut lose at the Russian ski resort, Rosa Khutor. We wouldn’t say it was pandemonium but there was definitely concern. Those training bags are definitely big enough to take someone out.
