If you live in North America, you might want to book this Wednesday afternoon off work. Either that, or stay off social media and avoid all of your friends until you get a chance to check out the hot hot action for yourself.
After a strict media embargo, the broadcast of the 2023 Natural Selection Tour’s final stop will be unveiled to the world on Wednesday at 12 p.m. Pacific Time. The athletes already battled it out a couple weeks ago in Valdez, Alaska, with Mother Nature offering up one beautifully contestable day within the weather window. But instead of broadcasting live, like they did earlier this year in Revelstoke, all the footage has been withheld until now.
The Revelstoke stop will go down as one of the most progressive days in the history of snowboarding, with riders navigating a burly headwall of pillows, chutes and powder-plastered panels of rock and ice. So it’ll be a real treat to see where all that progression goes next.
Will Travis Rice take another win? Will Zoi Sadowski-Synnott be unseated from her number one spot? These questions and more will be answered soon, with the 2023 Overall Tour winners being crowned at the end of the broadcast.
So clear your schedule and get ready to watch 12 of the world’s best riders get loose amongst the gnarled ramps and pillowy spines of Alaska’s Chugach Range.
You deserve it.
Check out the broadcast here starting at 12 p.m.,this Wednesday, April 26.
