Tanner Hall is one of the few freeskiers who has achieved pop culture notoriety. That’s because he’s so frickin’ innovative. He literally changed the game. But this dicey jump in the Utah backcountry changed his career arch. Twelve years ago he missed the transition on the gnarly gap and broke his ankles, famously screaming out, “my ankles are broken.” This week he returned to the infamous locale and, that’s right, stuck the hell out of it.
