The Inertia

Billy Gibbons–of the famously-bearded rock and roll band ZZ Top–is releasing a new solo album. But he still has time to make some pretty radical guacamole. And we can all agree that guac is the bomb. Dude uses the standards (avocado, lime juice, garlic) and then adds cayenne pepper, cumin, black pepper, smoked paprika, and hot sauce. He tops it off with this secret ingredient you wouldn’t expect (hint: it has cheese in it).

Gibbons’ new album is a departure from the ZZ Top sound you’re used to, or as he puts it “a hard left turn into uncharted waters.” It’s something you might not expect from Gibbons, much like his love of cooking. BTW, here’s a tamale recipe from the rocker, too, that might blow your mind as well.
