The Inertia

It’s the weekend. That means you can approach the next two days a couple different ways: they can either be your healthiest days of the week, or they can be your cheat days. Although it might be tempting to go for the latter, choose healthy. You have way more time to scrounge up some fruits and veggies and get your butt moving on the weekend than you do during the week. Plus, you have this Green Goddess juice in your back pocket. 4 ingredients? Healthy couldn’t be easier.

Ingredients

1 cup of spinach
1 cup of kale leaves
3 celery stalks
1 large Fuji apple

Instructions

-Place the spinach and kale in a bowl of cool water for about 5 minutes. Rinse them off, and allow them to dry in a colander or on sheets of paper towels. Chop kale leaves into small pieces (about 1 inch x 1 inch).

-Rinse and chop the celery and apple. These also should be chopped into 1 inch pieces.

-First, add the spinach and kale to your juicer.

-Next, juice the apple.

-Finally juice the celery.

-Combine all juices together by stirring in a large glass or pitcher.

-Serve over ice or alone as desired.
