This tart cherry smoothie bowl is a nice change from the traditional acai bowl route. The cherry brings a burst of tart flavor, and it is sure to wake you up in the morning. Cherries provide a ton of vitamin C and vitamin A, so this bowl will give you an immune boost as well!
Ingredients
Smoothie Bowl
2 1/2 cups frozen Montmorency tart cherries
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (1 lemon)
1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1 ripe banana
1 cup almond milk
1 1/2 cups of granola (homemade or store bought)
Directions
-Combine all smoothie ingredients in a blender.
-Top with granola.
-Enjoy!
