Mornings are not easy. There is usually a lot to be done in the morning: whether you’re packing up for a surf, getting ready for work, or trying to get kids out the door to school, the morning is always chaotic. The hardest part about mornings isn’t what you need to get done; it’s trying to get it all done while in a groggy, pre-coffee fog. Your to-do list would be a no-brainer in the afternoon, but when you left most of your brain back on the pillow, it’s just plain overwhelming.
Here is an easy solution: wake up just 5 minutes earlier and try this yoga routine. It isn’t difficult, it won’t take up too much time, but it will help you wake up and be a functional human being. Couple this routine with a glass of warm lemon water and a coffee and you’re good as gold.
