For the first time in years, even the Southern California landscape has decided to wear green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day today. The hills are a fresh, bright green, and there are even green little waves too. If you’re in the mood for celebrating St. Patty’s Day, tonight probably means chugging plenty of green beer and chowing down on corned beef. However, you can prepare for the evening’s festivities with these healthy green recipes this afternoon. They’ll get you in the spirit while counteracting the spirits you plan to sip on tonight.

Finally, the green recipe to top the rest. Made from dark leafy greens, avocado, and celery, this power green soup is made from about as many greens as you can think of. It’s great for you, and thanks to the kick from the alleppo peppers, it’s great to taste too.
