YETI makes some pretty awesome stuff. From high-quality coffee mugs for dawn patrol to rad travel bags and ultra-tough coolers, there’s a lot to love about the brand from Austin, Texas.
Adding to all that rad gear, YETI is coming out of the gates swinging this spring, with two limited-time collections of ocean-inspired colorways, updates to the beloved Hopper Soft Cooler line, and two new sizes of the Camino Carryall, a favorite among surfers for its rugged take anything, anywhere design.
I got to check out the new Camino Carryall 20 in Bimini Pink and a 26 oz Rambler with a chug cap in Offshore Blue, and was stoked on both of them. The chug cap with its rubberized handle is surprisingly intuitive to use, feeling like a classic canteen, and the Camino Carryall 20 is the perfect size to fill up and throw on the back of my bike for a slackline session in the park or use as a carryall tote when heading to the beach. The Offshore Blue is gorgeous but subtle, while the Bimini Pink really pops. Either colorway would make a great Mother’s, or Father’s Day, gift.
Offshore Blue Collection
You may be thinking offshore winds, but no, the Offshore Blue Collection is a drinkware-only collection, inspired by the incredibly deep and incredibly blue offshore waters of the Pacific Ocean that surrounds Hawaii. That’s a landscape that ocean photographer Perrin James is intimately familiar with from his freediving experiences.
“Once you get past a certain depth,” says Perrin James, “you lose all sense of up and down, and you enter this other space… that’s what keeps me wanting to go offshore, the search for those blue-water experiences.”
Bimini Pink Collection
The Bimini Pink Collection is inspired by the colorful islands of the Bahamas, in particular the Bimini Islands. “In the Bahamas, the people and culture, it’s very colorful… it brings out something inside of you,” says Tavel Bristol-Joseph, a rising Austin-based pastry chef. “There’s so much pink!”
Camino Carryall 20-liter and 50-liter
The beloved Camino Carryall is being released with two new sizes, both available in the bright and fun Bimini Pink colorway as well as YETI’s classic grey and navy. Currently, the Camino 20 has been released, and the Camino 50 will be available for order within the next few weeks. The Camino 20 is the perfect size for day trips and surf sessions where all you need are the essentials, and the Camino 50 is your heavy hauler for trips that require a lot of gear such as skiing or climbing, where the hose-down waterproof design and deployable dividers make packing, on-the-go organization, and unpacking, a breeze.
Hopper Soft Cooler Updates
Last but not least, the Hopper M30 Soft Cooler just received a major update, with a magnetic closure that stays open on its own for loading and unloading, snaps closed with a gentle push, and stays closed with strong magnets to keep the cold in. And that’s not all for the Hopper line of soft coolers. The Hopper M20 Backpack just dropped as well, taking everything that we love about the Hopper series of soft coolers and turning it into a go-anywhere backpack that can lug beers and cold snacks anywhere your feet can take you. With an ergonomic backpack design, insulation for days, and YETI’s HitchPoint Grid that lets you attach additional gear storage, this backpack is far more than just a cooler with straps.
All of these awesome, newly released and updated products will be available moving forward, but the Offshore Blue and Bimini Pink colorways are limited edition runs that will be available this spring only, while supplies last. So don’t wait to snag that gorgeous Bimini Pink backpack or Offshore Blue mug. Head over to YETI.com and load up on some of the most well-made gear in the industry.
