How’s this for keeping your cool? Just before Christmas, David Scherrer was spearfishing off the North Carolina coast when he came face to face with a great white shark. The shark swims around him, obviously checking out what he is, before coming directly at the diver. Scherrer told the Virginia-Pilot that the shark was around 10 feet
“Two things going through my mind as it came at me. 1. Hold your ground/don’t panic. 2. Where do I stab this thing,” Scherrer said.
