So here’s something that actually happened on the Internet today. Blogger and birding specialist Nick Lund has ranked the stupidest sounding birds of North America. I know what you’re thinking: this guy is the biggest bird nerd on earth OR he just has too much time on his hands. But no need to fret, because the answer is clearly “both.”
Regardless of Lund’s backstory, the dude knows his stuff. These birds really do sound dumb. Particularly No. 5, the Willow Ptarmigan – it sounds like a pre-pubescent frog having a seizure. What a dingus…
