The Inertia

Each week, a man named Carlos G., a.k.a The Malibu Artist, flies his drone over the ocean off the coast of southern Califonia. He’s looking for all sorts of things, but his main interest is great white sharks. You’d be surprised just how many there are swimming around out there — but for the most part, they’re juveniles, only interested in learning to hunt. And this week, Carlos caught some absolutely stunning footage.

In some of the most interesting parts, a pod of dolphins swims right by a few juveniles, a shark shows some serious interest in a bat ray, and a group aboard a boat got up-close-and-personal with a strangely docile young shark.

See more from Carlos on his YouTube channel and follow him on Instagram.
