The Inertia

This is definitely not something you see everyday. CBC Newfoundland and Labrador picked up this rare footage of a Piebald Moose in an area known as Black Duck. Photographer Gerard Gale captured the footage, calling it a “once in a lifetime,” encounter. A similar animal was seen in the area by a several locals in 2015 who thought it was an albino. But wildlife officials corrected them, according to the CBC: “Piebald, or pied, animals are those with a pattern of pigmented spots on a white background of hair, feathers or scales.” Pretty awesome-looking beast.
